B. Background Summary:
CDOR Jameson Rhodes grew up in Tycho City, where he was raised mostly by his mother, and his father when he was on leave from Star Fleet. His childhood and adolescence were quiet, neither getting into major trouble nor distinguishing himself academically.

His entry into Star Fleet Academy was controversial at best. He was not the most dedicated of students, and many felt that the ONLY reason he got into the Academy was because his father was a starship Captain. During his first 3 semesters there, he did nothing to prove his naysayers wrong.

However, during his fourth sememster, he took an intorductory Political Science class, and found his calling. From this point on, Jameson completely dedicated himself to his work, running a perfect GPA over the course of his final four semesters. By the time he had graduated summa cum laude, he had made the rank of Cadre Lieutenant and co-captain of the Academy's Null-Gravity handball team.  

A. Skills Profile
Gave up promising career as a Senior Line officer in Star Fleet to move to OSFI. Good field operative with ability to speak several languages fluently; brilliant analyst. Makes logical connections between events and sees subtle connections. Understands the nuances of Intergalactic Relations better than most. Only thing that would keep him from being an outstanding Ambassador is no-nonsense, blunt attitude.

B. Psychological Profile
Former CDR Jameson Rhodes is, in many ways, your typical analyst- intelligent almost to a fault, sure of his hypotheses, and has no place in his life for "amateurs." However, his field experience brings a practicality to his point of view- he sees things not only on the large, galactic scale, but how local systems and planets will be impacted. He understands what operatives have to go through to get information, and he treats such information with due respect.

Rhodes does not "junp" to conclusions- his assessments are well-thought out, practical and logical. He prefers to study the information given  to him for a time before making any conclusions- he feels the need to fully "digest" such information before suggesting a course of action. While not always granted with the luxuries of time in his position, he makes the time for it if the situation warrants, studying for hours, even days, on end. As such, Rhodes is not prone to following a hunch.
